Contest Rules
1 – Entries may be submitted online or on the form published in The Telegram or on any similar form containing the entire NCAA Tournament bracket. Incomplete brackets will not be entered in the contest and will not be eligible to win.
2 – Entries may be dropped off at the following location:
Stockmeister Plaza, 708 E. Main St., Jackson, Ohio 45640 no later than noon on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Entries may be mailed to: Total Media, c/o Basketball Mania,
P.O. Box 667, Jackson, OH 45640. If forms are mailed they must
be postmarked by Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Only one entry per person will be accepted.
3 – Select winners for each game in the tournament by writing them into the correct space in their tournament bracket.
4 – Points values increase as the tournament progresses, as follows:
- First Four = Play-in games are not included or scored
- First Round = 1 point
- Second Round = 2 points
- Sweet 16 = 4 points
- Elite 8 = 8 points
- Final Four = 16 points
- Championship = 32 points
5 – Decisions of the judges are final and winners must show a photo ID when claiming their prize.
6 – The tie-breaker is the combined number of points scored in the Championship game. Each member must enter a tie-break value when they make their picks. See official rules posted at Stockmeister Plaza, 708 E. Main St., Jackson OH.
7 – Complete standings of all participants will be published in The Telegram on March 27th and April 3rd, 2024.
8 – Winners will be published in The Telegram on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024.

The 64 sponsors of Basketball Mania are in a contest too! Each was randomly assigned one of the NCAA tourney teams and also allowed to predict their own champion. The businesses whose randomly assigned team appears as one of the “Final Four” teams will receive a free quarter page ad. Any business whose personal national champion prediction wins the championship game will be
entered into a drawing where one winner will be randomly drawn to win a half page ad in The Telegram.
